This NB Construction kitchen remodel created the kind of warm, inviting space that instantly becomes the center of a home. Flooded with light from custom-milled sliding doors opening onto a brand-new living area, at the center of the center is a multi-purpose island topped with gorgeous dark-stained butcher block, suitable for hanging out, prepping a meal, or microwaving food on the go. Surrounding the island, three walls of custom solid wood cabinets lacquered in a cozy robin’s egg blue — some with paned glass doors to display dishware — stretch from golden-stained floor to crisp white ceiling.
