MASTER BATHROOM RENOVATION
Luxury meets charm in this stunning master bath, which NB Construction undertook as part of a master suite addition to a vintage hideaway in the heart of Hollywood. It’s hard to decide who’s the star in this room, but the antique-style custom vanity with its double towers and fluted trim is certainly one of the contenders. Marble is a supporting player, appearing in the vanity top, 4″ x 12″ rectangular tiles on the shower walls, in 2″ x 2″ squares on the shower floor, and in the 12″ x 12″ tiles laid out on the bias across the room.
Beneath the spotlight of the triple casement window, a contemporary take on the traditional freestanding farmer tub is accented by floor-mount fittings. The keen observer will notice that the oval shape of the tub repeats in the oval beveled glass vanity mirrors, and that while the overall color palette here is monochromatic, 24’s playful use of scale and layout result in a room loaded with visual interest.
