BATHROOM RENOVATION
For this drastic bathroom remodel, NB Construction took a tragically shady 80’s bathroom back to an earlier, more elegant era of bathing and also made it feel light and airy. With its placement opposite the entry, the focal point is the stunning clawfoot tub with two-tone, black-and-white enamel finish, Victorian fittings and an antique-style slatted metal towel shelf above.
The custom-built dual sink vanity is lacquered in sophisticated glossy black to echo the black exterior of the tub, and its freestanding, footed design enhances the feel of spaciousness. In a room with nods to Victoriana, white marble was the best choice for the vanity top along with traditional cross handle fittings, while the subway tile wainscoting sheathing the room is a slightly updated take on the classic with beveled edges. Extensive custom woodwork including crown molding, doors and trim complete the picture of antique elegance.
