As part of a home renovation and room addition in the heart of Hollywood, NB Construction took an awkward, unusable corner and miraculously turned the otherwise wasted space into a much-needed additional bathroom. The key was tucking an enclosed glass shower neatly into an oddly laid out corner, which still left enough space for a generous-sized vanity.
While it had humble beginnings, the resulting bath is just as high-end and displays every bit the craftsmanship found throughout the house. Crisp white walls were accented with glossy grey subway tile from floor to ceiling in the shower, and at wainscoting height around the perimeter of the rest of the room. A solid wood vanity was crafted to fit in the unique space, accented by decorative raised trim on the door front, a toe-kick at the base, and the whole thing was finished with light grey lacquer. The vanity is topped with marble, echoed in the marbleized basket weave flooring. Further attention to detail is found in the bullnose trim along the tile ledge and the in-shower bench.
