The owners of this home in Marina Del Rey needed a kitchen that could accommodate frequent guests and entertaining, and NB Construction delivered with a space that always becomes the center of a party. By altering the layout of the room, they were able to incorporate an extra large multi-purpose island with a sink and room for up to four stools. Commercial appliances, double ovens, wine storage, and a serving buffet area provide all the support needed for frequent entertaining.
The room’s sleek design is based in the pairing of custom-built, modern-style wood cabinets stained in an espresso color, with the cool industrial feel of the stainless appliances, range hood, chunky cabinet hardware, and industrial lighting. The grey subway tile backsplash and Namibian marble counters pick up on the feel of the stainless enhancements, while custom-stained hardwood flooring warms things up with an element of nature.
