KIDS BATHROOM RENOVATION
In removing the overload of mirrors from this formerly dowdy floral bathroom, the team at NB Construction actually made the room feel lighter, brighter, and as crisp and clean as the client dreamed. Its most striking feature is the alcove that encloses the shower and ¾ size tub, which is clad in wide horizontal bands of textured tile. An open grain wood pattern in a light bleached grey color alternates with darker, tightly mottled grooves to great effect, unifying the area that is otherwise separated by a half wall.
Snow white walls, sink, custom-built vanity, Caesarstone counter, tub, and bleached wood flooring create a streamlined base for the attention-grabbing wall opposite, while extensive custom woodwork like the single panel door, crown molding, door and window trim, and storage shelves bring a cozy feel to the space.
