MASTER BATHROOM RENOVATION
This historic 1918 home — which was completely renovated and restored by NB Construction — deserved a bath that was reflective of the home’s vintage, yet able to meet today’s master bath must-haves. Key to that was abundant woodwork, from custom crafting the traditional-style dual vanity and finishing it with coats of glossy grey lacquer, to the custom- milled and period-correct door, window, trims and crown molding.
White and grey marble used in the wainscoting, vanity counter, tub surround, and basket weave flooring were also key to rooting this bath in the past. Thoroughly modern conveniences include a luxurious soaking tub and a generously sized half-glass shower with bench. Closer inspection reveals even more luxury details like the undermount sink with bullnose edges, the vintage industrial-look sconces, and attention paid to the symmetry and detail of every element in the room.
