GUEST BATHROOM RENOVATION
It’s hard to imagine that this elegant, well-appointed three-quarter bath occupies a space that was once a closet under the stairs. And the fact that it’s small didn’t affect NB Construction’s attention to detail and design. Where this bathroom makes a statement is its pairing of the dark grey subway tile found in the shower and wainscoting with contrasting bright white floors, walls and woodwork.
A newly added large casement window finished with white lacquer floods the room with light and creates an inviting vista from the guest bedroom, while a frameless mirror above the sink helps create the feeling of spaciousness. Other thoughtfully designed details include classic basket weave tile flooring, cross handle sink fittings, and a period-correct single panel door with glass knob.
