In a story familiar to many who have lived in contemporary, multiple-unit housing, this Santa Monica condo lacked the sort of details and trims that make a space feel like a cozy home. Their dream was to update their condo for the 21st century while giving it a more inviting, rustic urban style. NB Construction upped the warmth and coziness factor with dark-stained, wide plank wood flooring, the addition of crown molding and baseboard throughout the home, and classic barn-style pendant lights. New wood windows and doors were added and custom-trimmed.
